According to Adnkronos, in recent weeks a bullet addressed to the Minister Giuseppe Valditara was delivered to the Ministry of Education and Merit. The bullet was contained in an envelope that also included a letter with threatening phrases. A complaint has been filed with the police authorities regarding the case. The death threat comes two days after another shameful episode against the Minister of Education. “I express my full solidarity and that of the Government to Minister Giuseppe Valditara for the serious threats received. A bullet and a threatening letter are cowardly acts of intimidation that have no place in a democracy. We trust in the work of the law enforcement agencies to shed full light on the incident and in a clear and unanimous condemnation by all political forces,” said Giorgia Meloni in solidarity.

A dummy depicting Valditara was hung on the morning of Tuesday, September 15, on the occasion of the first day of school, at one of the windows of the Minghetti High School in Bologna. The protest was organized by the student opposition collective Osa. “Meloni and Valditara are enemies of the students,” said the activists who highlighted on a poster: “The future is not written, let’s conquer it. We reject war, racism, and imperialism.”
