Speaking about the electoral law, instead, the President of the Senate defined it as “an absolutely democratic law, also because the Constitutional Court cannot be liked only for what it says about one political party. It set the limit of the governability bonus at 40%, we set it at 42%. It has nothing to do with that of the DC which would have brought it to 63%.” According to him, therefore, there is no reason to evoke the “fraud law”: “This leads to just over 50%. I didn’t say it, but the Constitutional Court says so,” he continued during the panel.
