There is no peace for the 85 dead of the Bologna station massacre 46 years ago. One might say: who knows how many of them turn in their graves at the sight of the clowning that the left practically stages every year under the pretext of commemorating it, which predictably also happened yesterday. The script included waving Palestinian and Cuban flags but above all the display at the head of the procession of the relatives of the immigrant Fakir who died during a police check. Mayor Lepore, not content with having caused his city to be ransacked two weeks ago by inciting the crowd against the police, outdid himself by comparing Elon Musk to the perpetrators and the immigrants who invaded Ceuta to the victims of the massacre.

In short, a potpourri of facts that not even the most imaginative mind could keep together. Bologna, a martyr city, but of a martyrdom that never ends, from the probably fascist bomb to the communist psychological torture, it is a continuous series of abuses with no end in sight. Bolognese antifascism is now like the famous tagliatelle, a typical dish whose recipe adapts year by year to current events, sometimes – this year is the case – becoming indigestible even to the most resistant stomachs. Someone should explain the point of parading Fakir’s relatives in plain sight, about whose death there is still no certainty. Would the message be that the police officers are terrorists on par with those who placed the bomb at the station on August 2, 1980? And then the Palestinian flags, symbol of the Hamas perpetrators of October 7, what do they have to do with the memory of the victims of a massacre (one of the many investigative leads pointed precisely to Palestinian terrorism very active in those years)?
When the attack happened Mayor Lepore was not yet born, he grew up a prisoner of an ideology and party rhetoric that has little to do with truth and reality. And unfortunately, you can see it in everything he does, he even confuses August 2nd with the PD party celebration.
