How is the country’s mood? The Italian political game remains stuck, without shocks and with increasingly thin margins between the two major coalitions. The latest survey conducted by Supermedia YouTrend/Agi nevertheless shows some changes in voting intentions. The 5 Star Movement shifts slightly, from 12.8% to 13% in the latest survey, but gains on the PD. Forza Italia stands at 8.2%. In the field of more structured oppositions, Alliance, Greens and Left (AVS) is positioned at 6.6%, while centrist forces remain fragmented: Azione at 3%, Italia Viva at 2.4% (very slight decrease, -0.1%), +Europa at 1.4% and Noi Moderati at 1.1%.

On the coalition front, the most relevant political data is the acceleration of the opposition against the government: the broad field stands at 45.6%, while the center-right follows closely with 44.6%. This means that, as of today, the center-right has, on paper, an exact one-point ‘delay’ compared to the Broad Field, in which a sort of rebalancing is occurring in favor of M5S and to the detriment of the PD. Numbers that confirm how minimal and highly volatile the opposition’s advantage remains, when it exists.
