“We have decided on a contribution of 20 million euros intended for schools for cooling equipment and devices, with the aim of improving conditions and comfort for students and school staff”: said the Minister of Education and Merit Giuseppe Valditara. He then added: “This intervention is part of the Ministry’s commitment to concretely support schools and help them face the needs related to the quality of the environments where teaching activities take place. We are also working on a broader plan for energy efficiency in schools. We also expect local authorities – Municipalities, Provinces, and Metropolitan Cities – within their respective competences, to do their part by contributing to the necessary interventions in schools.
