Brothers of Italy by Giorgia Meloni confirms itself as the leading party in the latest survey conducted by the Piepoli Institute. Rising by 0.5% in a week, it now stands at 28%. Immediately after, within the center-right, there is Forza Italia by Antonio Tajani at 8%; the League of Matteo Salvini which falls by 0.5 and drops to 5.5%; Noi Moderati by Maurizio Lupi at 1.5%. As for the center-left, the Democratic Party by Elly Schlein is at 21%; the Five Star Movement at 13; Alliance Greens and Left loses 0.5 and falls to 6%; +Europe by Riccardo Magi at 1; Italia Viva by Matteo Renzi at 2.5.
Outside remain Azione by Carlo Calenda at 3% and National Future by Roberto Vannacci which rises by 0.5 and reaches 6%. Overall, therefore, today the center-right would reach 43% of the votes, the broad field 43.5%. “With the new electoral law, 42% is the goal of both coalitions. At this moment both reach it, they exceed it by one point, one and a half points, a great assurance that then one of the two will actually make it,” explained Livio Gigliuto, president of the Piepoli Institute, on Omnibus on La7. Then he added: “What happens this week is a convergence between the two coalitions, now there is half a point difference, they are practically equal.”
