Welcoming Sinner was also Spalletti, who has never hidden his esteem for the South Tyrolean champion. The two had already crossed paths at the ATP Finals and the Juventus coach has often pointed to Jannik as an example of mentality and ability to react to difficulties. The tennis player also greeted captain Manuel Locatelli and the other members of the squad, including Kenan Yildiz, dealing with the foot injury sustained in the first match of the season.
