It is the vote of those who have studied little, who live in the inner areas of cities and who are worse off economically.”

Words that have caused an uproar and on which Giorgia Meloni also commented. The premier, through a post on Facebook, responded to the Democrat: “In an enlightened lesson, Stefano Bonaccini, President of the Democratic Party, explains to us that millions of Italians vote right because they have studied little. We’ve heard this before. Those who vote for them are cultured, aware, and intelligent citizens, while those who vote for us would be pitiable ignorants, if not in need of re-education.”
Hence the suggestion: “Perhaps Bonaccini should consider a simpler hypothesis: those Italians, regardless of the schools they attended, have learned firsthand the consequences of left-wing policies. They have seen less safe cities, uncontrolled borders, forgotten suburbs, and moral lessons given by those who pretend to tell others how they should live, how they should vote, and how they should think. Those Italians vote right because we do not ask them how many degrees they have before listening to them. We respect them. And it is perhaps this respect that Bonaccini and a certain left, despite many defeats, have not yet studied enough.”
