Then Ilaria Salis, patron saint of other people’s houses raised in Brussels: on her resume an invasion of buildings, resistance in collusion with a public official, and a trial in Hungary for aggravated assault in the company of the “Hammer Gang.” Now Bonelli&Fratoianni, a resistible talent scout, is ready for the next level. No more simple deputies: the two commanders of Avs, not wanting to stand idly by during the Schlein-Conte challenge, want to place Francesca Albanese in the center-left primaries, which the non-lawyer UN rapporteur could win if they were far left. THE GOAL
The secretary of Sinistra Italiana’s candidacy would not be a mere symbolic one, but a move to increase the party’s percentages and claim greater weight (for him surely a ministry) in case of a broad field victory in next year’s general elections. Bonelli would also benefit: in turn, he would demand and obtain a ministry, we fear the Environment one but we fear them all. Returning to Albanese (dumped by the PD for too many stammers on Hamas): the candidacy with Avs in the primaries, regardless of the result, would guarantee her a parliamentary seat. The UN rapporteur position expires just one year later. Avs now participates in demonstrations with social centers (see Askatasuna) and anti-Israel marches: presenting Albanese in the elections would mean fishing even more from that electorate, also taking votes away from the 5Stelle.

From which Albanese could receive the best, or worst, offer. Conte has long thought of putting the pro-Paladin on the list, whom the Five Star Movement has already nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize. To a specific question (not about the Nobel Peace Prize) the Five Star “bigwigs,” who are not running for any Nobel, responded in a stenciled manner: “It is up to her to decide her future.” It will depend mainly on the future role that Conte, back in the driver’s seat he would be wrong to press, could offer her. That is why it is not excluded that Albanese keeps her hands free, thus does not participate in the primaries and then evaluates the most enticing proposal should the left prevail in 2027. However, Ruffini stressed that before announcing his entry into the race – the nation holds its breath – he wants shared rules and a “common vision.” There is also a Civic Project Italy, that of the Roman councilor for Major Events, Sports, Tourism and Fashion, Alessandro Onorato. When he speaks he sounds like Conte, not for the program but for the tone. Onorato, leading yet another center-left bush, pushes for primaries in November and we will see if even the dead will vote, as is tradition in democratic polling stations.
HOW FUNNY
Finally the mythical Riccardo Magi, the secretary (perhaps still for a short time) of +Europa, a party excluded from Europe for lack of votes. Magi, known for storming parliament dressed as a ghost, said he was “ready to run.” Benedetto Della Vedova, +Europa deputy of whom he was secretary, replied that he would do so “in a personal capacity, not for the party.” The clash erupted after the budget rejection, the appeals on the congress, and the chaos related to memberships. Magi risks becoming an ectoplasm even in +Europa.
