The total of 140 makes Diomande the most expensive purchase in the history of the Blancos: surpassing Jude Bellingham (paid 127 million by Borussia Dortmund). It is also the fourth triple-digit signing ever made by Real Madrid: the first was Gareth Bale (101 from Tottenham) followed by Eden Hazard (120 from Chelsea). With the arrival of Diomande, the Blancos have completed a market that is nothing short of stellar: now it is up to Mourinho to start a winning cycle. The Ivorian completes an extraordinary attacking quartet: he will play as a right winger, with Vinicius (freshly renewed) on the left flank and Bellingham as an attacking midfielder behind the striker Mbappé.
