“We grow, we change, we become adults. But there are flavors that continue to accompany us. Italian milk is one of them.” With these words, the Minister of Agriculture Francesco Lollobrigida presented on his social channels a commercial in which he stars, together with a child whom the minister calls Giulio. In the video, Lollobrigida addresses the child, filmed only from behind, showing him three plastic animals – a goat, a cow, and a sheep – before offering him a glass of milk. “An excellence that from tomorrow we will tell about on public service channels, with a new institutional campaign,” announces the minister.

Well, that was enough for Andrea Scanzi to cover the Minister of Agriculture with insults. In a post published on Facebook, the journalist wrote: “Lollobrigida’s video teaching (?) a child what to eat and how milk is made, is one of the most rude, ridiculous, and unwatchable things ever seen. On one hand, there is the content, which is a horrible commercial for the breeders’ lobby and therefore an insult (yet another) to the animal world. The usual specist nonsense from an unpresentable minister. On the other hand – continues Scanzi – there is the quality (??): a pathetic, ridiculous video, stuff not even fit for TeleFava+. This guy, styled like the discount version of Thorne from Beautiful, with suspenders not even Rampini on acid would wear, babbling in front of a lifeless (and martyr) child, acting like Alberto Tomba in Alex the Aries but much worse. What a government of broths.”
