The race for the Quirinale has already started. And it is the one that interests the coalitions the most. Much depends on who will arrive at Palazzo Chigi. And this is where the “tie” party comes into play, which has supporters both on the right and on the left. If, in fact, the next political elections do not produce a certain result, inevitably a cross-party majority would have to be reached. And a guarantee premier, well-liked both on the right and on the left. A scenario that would also have effects on the choice of the candidate to succeed Sergio Mattarella. If, in fact, the premier were a compromise between the two sides, the Quirinale race would replicate the same scheme. But even if there is no tie and the polls express a clear result, the Colle race will necessarily involve a dialogue between the two fronts. And this is what many are already working on today.
