The Public Prosecutor’s Office of Milano confirms the positive opinion on the presidential pardon granted to Nicole Minetti on February 18, 2026. This is explained by the Public Prosecutor of Milan, Francesca Nanni, in the press release informing that she has today sent to the Minister of Justice, Carlo Nordio, and to the President of the Republic, Sergio Mattarella, a “report” illustrating the investigative activity carried out after the journalistic revelations of Fatto Quotidiano about the life in Uruguay of the former dental hygienist and her partner Giuseppe Cipriani.

Specifically, the Public Prosecutor’s Office of Milan states that from the “checks” carried out in the last month and a half, the journalistic scoops on the Nicole Minetti case “do not correspond to the truth” and “no facts contrary to the evidentiary framework already acquired” have emerged, which led to the “granting of the pardon” to the former dental hygienist and regional councilor of Lombardy. In a long note retracing the entire affair, Nanni emphasizes how the “statements about parties with drugs and sex in which Nicole Minetti allegedly took part in recent years” have been “denied” both by “statements taken during defensive investigations” and by those “made to the carabinieri by people informed about the facts,” revelations “originally made to Fatto Quotidiano by the masseuse, first anonymously and later with her name disclosed.”
