“They choose to cash in on the backs of workers and pensioners,” denounce the senators of Italia Viva, but it’s a lie. The reasons are explained by Giorgia Meloni herself through a post on Instagram: “I read some posts by leading members of the Democratic Party and honestly, I don’t know what is worse: whether, when they wrote them, they were aware of telling a falsehood or if they were not.”
Meloni stops Vannacci: never with those who vote against Kiev
Now Giorgia Meloni sets the boundaries herself. Recipient: Roberto Vannacci. The general’s name, the president of …
The reason is clear: “They tell us that from 2027 the Government would have eliminated the safeguard clause on the severance pay (TFR), with a ‘silent blow’ against workers. And to prove it, they triumphantly cite the repeal provided for by article 376 of Legislative Decree 117/2026. There is only one small problem. What they are citing is a Consolidated Act. And in the very same decree, before reaching article 376, it would have been enough to stop at article 21. In paragraph 11, the safeguard clause on the TFR is there, black on white. And, in case it was not clear enough, the same article expressly refers to it.”
Spied on Meloni: here’s who risks trial
He consulted Giorgia Meloni’s personal data three times in one day. Twice to check the registry and once…
“So – is the question the premier asks – what really happens? A very simple thing. The Consolidated Act reorganizes the discipline, reproduces the safeguard clause in the new regulation, and repeals the old provision it replaces. They, instead, take the repeal of the old rule and present it as the abolition of protection. Is it an election campaign? Don’t they know how a Consolidated Act works? I fear it’s much worse: that they haven’t even read the measure they are commenting on. Because it would have been difficult to get to article 376 without noticing that article 21 contradicts the whole story.” Then the jab: “And these gentlemen are politicians and representatives of the PD institutions.”
