But not only that, because Giletti will also show the diaries of the new suspect and for the first time some exclusive documents will be seen, handwritten notes by the suspect about the death of Chiara Poggi found by the investigators. “I have to get rid of the anxiety… today a s**t…”, it reads among other things. And again, on February 3, 2012, the boy writes, notes: “I have to stop talking to myself and telling myself bad things”.

Meanwhile, a twist could occur. According to Sempio’s former lawyer, Massimo Lovati, the Pavia Prosecutor’s Office “will not close the investigations” of the new inquiry into the Garlasco murder on September 28. “There will be a request for an extension because they have to wait for Alberto Stasi’s review,” the lawyer said this morning in court in Milan on the sidelines of his trial for aggravated defamation against the Giarda law firm, the former defenders of Stasi from 2007 to 2018, to whom he had attributed a “machination” and “organized manipulation” behind the first investigation of 2016-17 against Sempio.
