Shortly after, the artist interrupted the performance and withdrew backstage, where he was assisted by the medical staff present.
After a few minutes of waiting, it was the mayor of Letojanni, Alessandro Costa, who took the stage to explain to the audience what had happened. The mayor spoke of a “mild illness” and announced that Gabbani would undergo further checks, emphasizing that health comes first.

At the moment no official updates have been released on the singer’s condition. It remains to be seen whether the illness will have consequences on the next appointments of his summer tour.
