She has repeatedly characterized herself as a left-wing political activist, often making statements that have nothing to do with the neutrality and institutional rigor that her role would require.”

Precisely for this reason, its honors must represent figures capable of uniting the community around unequivocal values of freedom, democracy, peace, and rejection of all terrorism – insist the liberal democrats -. For these reasons, we ask Mayor Cuppi and her majority to reconsider the granting of honorary citizenship to Albanese,” appealing “to all democratic forces of Marzabotto, regardless of their political affiliation, to put pressure on the municipal administration in this regard.”
