“The data released today by Istat confirm a trend that has now lasted over time. In July, employed people numbered 24 million and 370 thousand, 307 thousand more than a year ago. When the Meloni Government took office in October 2022, there were 23 million and 231 thousand. This means 1 million and 139 thousand more employed. And it is significant that during the same period, especially stable employment relationships have grown, with over 1.3 million more permanent employees and a decrease in fixed-term contracts,” comments Marco Osnato, president of the Finance Commission of the Chamber and economic head of Brothers of Italy. “These results do not come by chance.
