The future of Rafa Leao at Milan seems increasingly distant from San Siro. The Portuguese forward appears destined to leave the Rossoneri club and in recent hours, as reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport, the race has turned into a duel between Aston Villa and Galatasaray. A remote challenge that could be decided in the next few hours, with Rafa Leao currently considering the Premier League his preferred destination. Aston Villa made a renewed offer during the night, around one o’clock, presenting Milan with a proposal close to the club’s demands. The English club puts on the table a loan with a fee, close to 8 million euros, with an obligation to buy: the overall operation would thus approach the 50 million requested by Milan. For the player, instead, an offer of 6.5 million per season has been made, likely to increase.

Galatasaray, however, has no intention of backing down. The Turkish club offers 45 million to Milan and as much as 12 million per year to Leao, with the possibility of further improving the proposal. George Gardi, emissary of Galatasaray, has been in Milan for two days and new meetings are expected in the coming hours. The Turkish club therefore remains fully in the race, even if the Portuguese wants to wait for the development of the English track.
