The future of Dusan Vlahovic remains a puzzle just days before the start of the main European championships. The Serbian striker is a free agent after the end of his contract with Juventus, but despite interest from several clubs, he has not yet found a new team. The problem, according to La Stampa, is mainly related to the financial demands of his entourage. Vlahovic remains one of the most interesting profiles among players without a contract, but the requested figures are complicating every possible negotiation. At Juventus, during renewal discussions, the entourage reportedly asked for 15 million euros in commissions, in addition to a salary increase. A request that contributed to the definitive break and the contract expiration.
The situation has not changed even with Al Ahli. The Saudi club had shown interest in the striker, but the negotiation reportedly clashed with financial demands considered too high: about 25 million euros in salary and additional charges for his entourage. Figures that would have also deterred a club used to very significant investments. Vlahovic, for his part, would have a clear preference: to continue his career in Spain. Barcelona would be the most preferred destination, but so far the Catalan club has not made concrete moves. Atletico Madrid also remains a possibility, while the most concrete option remains Besiktas.
In Istanbul, in fact, Vincenzo Italiano is pushing to reunite with the striker, whom he has coached in the past. The Turkish club reportedly put an offer of 8 million euros per season on the table, accompanied by a signing bonus, but Vlahovic has not yet made a decision. Juventus, meanwhile, seems out of the picture. The relationship has definitively deteriorated and a return appears unlikely. To unlock the situation, a step back on the financial demands will be necessary: time is running out and Vlahovic risks arriving at the start of the season still without a team.
