The former sporting director of Milan, after attending the funeral ceremony on Tuesday, August 4th at the Basilica of Sant’Ambrogio in Milan, returned to Rome by train, but during the journey he was robbed of the bag he had placed in the overhead compartment. The executive realized what had happened only once he arrived at Termini station. Without wasting time, he turned to the agents of the Railway Police of the Lazio department, immediately triggering the search.
The episode was recounted by the Police themselves through their social channels: “On the train unfortunately, sometimes, just a moment of distraction is enough to have unpleasant surprises, as happened to Igli Tare who was robbed of his bag from the overhead compartment.” The intervention of the agents proved decisive. Thanks to the images from the station’s video surveillance system, the police were able to quickly reconstruct the movements of the culprit, identifying him within a few minutes: ”The man was thus traced and arrested and the bag returned to the owner,” the authorities further explain, emphasizing how the matter ended in the best possible way.
