It is dangerous to criticize the left on In Onda. Pina Picierno experienced this firsthand. The MEP, fresh from leaving the Democratic Party, was a guest on the La7 program hosted by Luca Telese and Marianna Aprile. The latter, along with Daniela Preziosi, could not hold back their infatuation with the broad front. Dagospia noticed what happened, reporting: “On La7, in that little den of leftist types, the ‘trial’ of Pina Picierno takes place.”

“What you are saying is unbearable,” Preziosi even says. But Picierno pushes on and points out that the Five Star Movement and the former general share the same positions in Europe. Then the host presses: “We only have one minute, I would like an answer to the question: on this side or that side?”, Aprile insists regarding Picierno’s positioning and the possibility or not of supporting a coalition with Vannacci. And so, in the La7 studios, yet another attempt to corner the “enemy” was broadcast.
