The premier participated in the Committee for order and public security in the Sicilian capital, before presiding over the ceremony at the Museo del Presente Falcone e Borsellino during which the Croma on which Falcone and his wife Francesca Morvillo were traveling on May 23, 1992, the day of the Capaci bombing, was unveiled. Beside her was the president of the Fondazione Falcone which created the museum, Maria Falcone, sister of the great anti-mafia magistrate. Among the guests were also the entrepreneur Tommaso Dragotto, recently a victim of extortion attacks, and former Palermo footballer Fabrizio Miccoli. Also present at the Museo del Presente were the Minister of the Interior Matteo Piantedosi and the Minister of Justice Carlo Nordio.
