Kimi Antonelli doesn’t stop anymore. The young Mercedes driver also won the Spanish Grand Prix of Formula 1, on the brand new Madrid circuit, and extends his lead at the top of the World Championship standings. With a tactical race, almost like a veteran, Antonelli finished ahead at the finish line in the Spanish capital of Max Verstappen’s Red Bull and Lando Norris’s McLaren. Fourth place for Charles Leclerc’s Ferrari, while Lewis Hamilton retired after 7 laps due to a brake problem. With the eighth win of the season, coming 7 days after the historic one in Monza, Antonelli now has an 81-point lead in the standings over teammate George Russell, who was only fifth today.
