It must not have been easy for Nazareno, the young man who appeared on the last episode of Dritto e rovescio, to share his experience. Nazareno chose to go on television to talk about the assault he suffered at the hands of second-generation immigrants in the Milanese suburbs. And, as if that were not enough, he also found himself having to listen to a lesson from a woman of African origin, a guest in the studio, on the terms to use when referring to his attackers. But let’s proceed in order.
First of all, here is Nazareno’s story: “I was coming home. In a public playground where we included second-generation non-EU kids. “They were – she continues – almost all second-generation immigrants, almost all North African, but inclusion had happened because they played soccer. The problem is the behavior they exhibited. They behaved this way because fundamentally they do not want to be integrated, they want to do more and always want to do what is against the law to act as the tough guys of the situation. That’s it.”
