When Ranucci starts (over)speaking from the stage, in a black shirt but not at all fascist, sitting on black plastic chairs there are about sixty people, including a man with a thick white beard and a rather attractive young woman, though maybe pointing that out is sexist. Actually, it definitely is. Then there are about ten people, evenly split between men and women, with shoulder bags. And two more white placeholders with the word “reserved,” but for whom is unclear.
Sigfrido is the guest of honor (but it will also be an honor to host Landini two hours later, obviously) of the third day of “Terra,” the festival of Avs, acronym of Bonelli&Fratoianni. The start is scheduled for 6 p.m. Ranucci begins 34 minutes later, perhaps in a desperate attempt to get more people to arrive, and instead of talking about his latest book against the caste – we acknowledge the originality of the topic – he immediately attacks the right, the “right-wing social media,” right-wing politicians, and so on.

WAILING
Everyone is against him, who is obviously the victim of a character assassination never seen before, but those who watched his Report before certainly saw it: designated victims, anyone who was not left-wing.
Behind Sigfrido there is a drum set, not pots, and around him, two on the right and two on the left, red and green water bottles, which in number threaten the audience.
Attention, the author even refers to his book. Hold on tight: “I wrote it in four days and three nights, there was an urgency to explain that the referendum for the reform of the judiciary was part of a new world order.” Ranucci manages to include “the Gaza genocide” in the same speech, and the performance is that of a seasoned acrobat.
Ranucci over-speaks: 63 percent say I could lead the country
“I’m not going into politics: politics is a serious matter and I don’t feel up to it, it’s a profession …Before going on stage set up in the Testaccio neighborhood, Sigfrido, stopped by reporters and also by Bonelli who pats him on the shoulder, states that “there are no secret chats,” that “they are all nonsense: I have been wiretapped for more than a year like all the people close to me.” He tries to deny the existence of an exchange of messages between Laura Cianfoni, close to the host, and the partner of Valter Lavitola, Natalia Potenza. Then the questions turn to the future projects of the unblemished journalist: “I’m not running for politics, I’m more annoying as the host of Report,” from which he was however removed.
Sigfrido doesn’t give up: “I will fight to the last, there are chances of reinstatement,” and he says this talking about the appeal his lawyer is preparing. “If I don’t succeed,” he announces, “I will do something else somewhere else,” so another Report on another network. Sigfrido at times seems annoyed, he is the star and not the two interviewers who try to take the spotlight by asking soliloquy-like questions. The two interviewers are former Minister of Education Lorenzo Fioramonti, who felt the need to inform us that he feels the need to return to politics, and millions of Italians demanded it; to Sigfrido’s right, besides the water bottles, there is Francesca Ruocco from the organizational secretariat of Sinistra Italia. Whoever announced her at the beginning of the performance stumbled, but you can imagine the emotion?
Sigfrido Ranucci loses it: “All str***”. Then the promise: “If I don’t return to Report…”
No, Sigfrido Ranucci doesn’t give up. He continues to aim for reinstatement at Report, claims he was ousted because…BARRAGES
Meanwhile FdI doesn’t give up: “For months we have witnessed an incredible media victimhood campaign in which Ranucci,” thunders Antonella Zedda, deputy group leader in the Senate, “with the complicit support of the left, exploited the attack he suffered to discredit Brothers of Italy, evoking a non-existent climate of hatred and political motives.” Also attacking is Stefano Maullu, counterpart in the Chamber: “New details emerge that cast longer shadows, outlining an even more disturbing picture. Ranucci allegedly used secret communication channels, through their respective partners, to exchange confidential documents with Lavitola, then agreeing in a two-hour encrypted phone call on Signal on a possible alibi.” At the end of the rally Ranucci drinks from a black water bottle. Always facing the usual sparse audience. And to think that according to polls, but especially according to him, Italians can’t wait for his entry into politics…
