Sensational, but true: the highly contested mayor of Bologna, Matteo Lepore, also ends up in Ryanair’s crosshairs. The airline, in fact, points to him as the direct person responsible for the delay of one of its fleet’s flights.
The incident dates back to the evening of Saturday, August 29, when a Ryanair plane, departing from Olbia and bound for Bologna, was supposed to take off at 22:15. The passengers were already in their seats when, during the usual announcements, the captain explained the reason for the delay: “The flight is delayed due to a measure by the Matteo Lepore administration.”
