“Let’s unlock a memory.” This is what Beppe Grillo wrote on social media, posting an old video of the M5S leader Giuseppe Conte confirming support for the Draghi government about a year after its establishment. “We cannot play games – Conte said then – no one should dare to say that the Movement says no to Draghi. The Movement says yes to Draghi, it said so almost a year ago when the country was on its knees with a great assumption of responsibility, aware of the political path it would entail, given that we lost 40 parliamentarians,” and “today, while the ship is still in storm, the Movement says yes to Draghi, indeed it strengthens its yes.”

Meanwhile, Davide Casaleggio, the son of founder Gianroberto, also intervened. “I do not comment on others’ quarrels – he said in an interview with Corriere della Sera -. I just say that while we discuss lost identities, which have caused more than two-thirds of the electorate to abandon a movement, AI is rewriting the economy: entire sectors, millions of jobs, the very distribution of wealth.
